The Heart of America': The Pioneers Rebuilding Detroit One House at a Time

The United States is full of interesting and inspiring people working to make a positive difference in unusual places or ways, far from the glare of the media spotlight.

They are the subject of “The Heart of America,” a new short video series from TheBlaze Documentary Films.

The city of Detroit has gone through incredible swings from boom to bust over the past half-century, and is now experiencing a rebirth. A small business owner in the city’s downtown who has been there to see it all says the revival is thanks to a unique group of “pioneers” who are turning the Motor City around, one house and garden at a time.
