Harry Reid and Joe Scarborough Get Into Twitter Fight Over Koch Brothers
November 04, 2015
Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) shot a barb at MSNBC's "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough, calling the host's journalistic integrity into question over his Tuesday morning interview with the Koch brothers.
Reid's tweet sarcastically congratulates Scarborough on his "tough journalism," citing a Media Matters article listing 10 of the "worst moments" in the "fawning" MSNBC exclusive.
Hey @joenbc, that was some tough journalism in your interview with the Kochs. https://t.co/MCcCZZmqLb

Reid's tweet is no doubt fueled by Charles Koch's response to one of Scarborough's questions, when Koch accused the senator of being vitriolic and launching "dishonest attacks." Scarborough was quick to fire back at Reid over Twitter, suggesting the senior Democrat's "strategy" to focus on the Koch brothers during the 2014 midterm elections cost his party the majority in the upper chamber.
Guess you're still bitter because your dumb strategy to focus so much on the Kochs cost Democrats the majority #Duh https://t.co/OJhlzYUnk9
