For the Record': National Security Expert Warns Not Much Preventing Next Islamic State Attack

The Islamic State says that it plans to strike in America, and national security experts are taking their warning seriously.

Former CIA Director James Woolsey told TheBlaze TV that he views the Islamic State as one of the foremost threats to the United States and considers the Nov. 13, Paris attacks a signal of things to come.

“I’m not sure much is preventing that kind of an operation from happening here, and ISIS has said they’re coming after Washington, D.C., next,” Woolsey said.

“If we’re on the alert; we have very good police and National Guard forces and the rest. Doesn’t mean nobody’s going to get killed,” he added.
