Watch: American Hockey Legend TJ Oshie Delivers Beating to NHL Star Sidney Crosby
March 21, 2016
Oshie repeatedly dealt head shots until Crosby fell down to the ice.
Washington Capitals forward and U.S. Olympic ice hockey champion TJ Oshie and Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby engaged in a full-on fist fight during Sunday night’s Capitals-Penguins game in the Steel City.
Oshie began repeatedly punching the Penguins star in the head following a multi-player brawl that broke out by the Capitals’ net after the whistle blew.
Oshie, who achieved legendary status in the 2014 Sochi Olympics in a shootout against Russia, continued with the head shots until Crosby fell down to the ice.
Despite the beatdown, the NHL dubbed Crosby one of its “Three Stars” of the week Monday, along with Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick and Calgary Flames center Sean Monahan.
