Actor Chris Pratt Goes Above and Beyond to Show the Internet the ‘True Meaning of Easter’

Chris Pratt has been known to defy Hollywood stereotypes in the past, but now the actor has taken his unique reputation to a whole new level.

Pratt sent out a series of Instagram photos on Easter Sunday showing himself and two others commemorating the holiday by carrying a cross up a hill and erecting the Christian symbol at the top.

But even these muscular men had to "stop for a break."

After reaching the top, the men dug a hole, erected the cross and cemented it in the ground.

The result was an Easter message like few others.

"HAPPY EASTER!" Pratt wrote in the final Instagram post, along with a photo of himself and the other two men standing in front of the cross.

The post did not say where the cross was erected.

The actor's social media followers were quick to acknowledge how Pratt is very unlike most of his Hollywood colleagues.

"In this world of commercialization and political correctness the true meaning of Easter gets lost. Well done for reminding many that it's about Jesus and God," one user commented.

"I'm so happy to see a Christian in Hollywood :) You're faith is evident in the joy you have :) Thanks for being a role model :)" another wrote.

"Coolest guy in Hollywood, hands down," yet another fan replied.

"Why you are my favorite actor," one more commented.
