The New York Times became the source of hysterical Internet uproar Tuesday shortly after the outlet updated a May 8 article titled "Muslim Leaders Wage Theological Battle, Stoking ISIS’ Anger."
The piece, which detailed the steps Western Muslim religious leaders are taking to combat radical Islam, was not humorous in tone, but a few observant readers were rewarded when they noticed this correction listed at the bottom of the article:
