Gun control advocates have been aggressively pushing President Obama to do more to take away firearms from Americans in the wake of the Pulse nightclub terror attack that killed 49 people and left another 53 wounded.
That attack came just five months after President issued new guidelines aimed at closing the so-called "gun show loophole" that allows private citizens to sell guns without having to run the sale through a federal background check.
Those guidelines don't have the force of law, but gun rights supporters worry that they may have a chilling effect on individuals who want to sell a handful of guns without the expense and hassle of becoming a Federal Firearms License holder.
