"Fix trade. Stop manufacturing Trump ties in China."
After Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made an appeal to supporters of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders during his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, the former Democratic presidential candidate disputed the notion his supporters would be willing to join Trump’s campaign.

During his speech, Trump said, “Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it,” adding:
I have seen firsthand how the system is rigged against our citizens, just like it was rigged against Bernie Sanders — he never had a chance. But his supporters will join our movement, because we will fix his biggest issue: trade deals that strip our country of its jobs and strip us of our wealth as a country. Millions of Democrats will join our movement too because we are going to fix the system so it works fairly and justly for each and every American.
Sanders took to Twitter to push back on Trump’s claim.
Those who voted for me will not support Trump who has made bigotry and divisiveness the cornerstone of his campaign. #RNCwithBernie

Sanders proceeded to live-tweet Trump’s speech, noting the various points of contention he has with the GOP candidate, including on what Trump called his biggest issue, trade.
What a hypocrite! If Trump wants to "fix" trade he can start by making his products in the US, not low-wage countries abroad. #RNCwithBernie

Trump is wrong. The real cause of instability in the Middle East was the Bush-Cheney invasion of Iraq. By the way, where is President Bush?

Trump also said that presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s “bad instincts and her bad judgment” were “pointed out” by Sanders, who recently endorsed her.
