President-elect Donald Trump began to fill important positions in his cabinet and the senior-levels of the government last week, announcing who he intended to nominate or appoint for attorney general, CIA director and his national security adviser.
And according to national security expert Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Trump's choices to fill those positions are really, really good. So good, Gorka said during an interview with Fox News' "Fox and Friends" Saturday, that anyone weary of radical Islam and border security can "rest easy."
"The grownups are in charge," Gorka said during the interview. "The adults are back in the White House in the cabinet."
On Friday, Trump announced that he would be nominating Alabama Sen. Jeff Session to be his attorney general, Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kans.) to be his CIA director and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn to be his national security adviser.
More from Fox News Insider:
He explained that Flynn is an extremely experienced general and a true "soldier's soldier," Sessions is a leading proponent of tough immigration enforcement policies, and Pompeo has an amazing resume, graduating first in his class at West Point, editing the Harvard Law Review and serving on the House Intelligence Committee.
"This is an amazing start for America," Gorka added of the men.
