Entertainer Roseanne Barr ferociously defended her support of President Donald Trump on Monday night and pulled no punches in voicing how she feels about those who'd criticize her TV show over her backing of the president.
What did she say?
Speaking on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Barr — who is enjoying a television resurgence of sorts with the record-breaking "Roseanne" revival — addressed the elephant in the room.
When Fallon brought up her support of the president — as well as the success of her show — the comedian, actress, and one-time presidential candidate gave a profane answer.
It all began when Fallon broached the topic of Trump while lauding her show, which has garnered record viewership numbers.
Fallon said, "[The show] couldn't be a bigger thing, but then with a big hit comes people that aren't so happy, as well, if you say you're a supporter of Donald Trump."
"Oh yeah, people were mad about that," Barr said. "I don't give a f***."
She added, "Everybody had to choose for themselves, according to their own conscious, who they thought was the lesser of two evils. Everybody chose that, so I’m not gonna put anyone down who didn’t vote like me."
"This is America, it’s a free country," Barr explained. "And you know, when you weigh it all together — actually, I just felt like we needed a whole new thing, bottom to top."
