Charlamagne Tha God trashes Biden as 'never being a good candidate,' predicts Trump wins election, bashes Democrats on migrant crisis

Charlamagne Tha God questioned the electability of President Joe Biden and proclaimed that the career politician has "never been a good candidate" in a new interview. The progressive radio host also blasted Democrats for flip-flopping on sanctuary cities and exacerbating the migrant crisis.

Charlamagne Tha God conceded that Republican governors Greg Abbott of Texas and Ron DeSantis of Florida shipping illegal immigrants to Democrat-run sanctuary cities was "effective," yet also "cruel" and "inhumane."

“Clearly it was effective because it made a lot of those Democrats start singing a different tune. And, I mean, the voters see that. The voters see that,” Charlamagne said. “So what does that look like to the voter? Just on the surface, just on the surface, it looks like Republicans were right about the issue and Democrats got it wrong."

"And now a lot of Democrats are starting to sound like the Republicans sounded," he continued. "So it makes a lot of people say, ‘Well, damn, Republicans were actually right on that issue.’ Just on the surface, just plain on the surface, that’s how it looks, you know, to the average voter.”

The "Breakfast Club" host also blamed Biden for the migrant crisis, "I honestly have never spoken to as many people who are concerned about the migrant issue as I have over the past year…[Biden] is the President of the United States of America. If he can take credit for the good things that happen in this country, he has to take credit for the bad as well because those things happen on his watch."

Charlamagne noted that Americans are going to question Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, liberals, and Democrats for completely changing their politics about illegal immigrants after previously expressing they would gladly welcome migrants to sanctuary cities.

Charlamagne Tha God skewered Biden for having abysmal messaging.

"Their messaging sucks," he told Fox News. "Even though they have accomplished some good things while they've been in the White House, nobody knows that."

The radio host lambasted Biden for a predictable routine during a recent trip to Charleston, South Carolina.

"Charleston, South Carolina, my birthplace, and he goes to the black church, and then he goes to a soul food spot," he noted. "They've been doing that same s*** for years. Like, they've been doing the same old stuff for years."

He warned, "Democrats shouldn't just be concerned about the black vote, because when you look at the polls, he's losing with black voters, he's losing with Latinos, he's losing with independents, he's losing with the youth vote. It's like – damn! Do y'all want to win or not? Because right now they don't look like a winning ticket."

When asked why Biden is losing support among those voters, he responded, "Because he sucks as a candidate."

Charlamagne explained, "Why are we acting like President Biden has ever been like a great presidential candidate? I mean, the guy's ran quite a few times before and, you know, didn't even get close."

"Like, if it wasn't for a series of unfortunate circumstances in 2020, COVID in particular, the murder of George Floyd, like, you know, people being in the streets protesting, rioting, then I think that there probably would have been a different outcome in 2020," he stated.

"So he's just never been a good candidate, ever, like in the history of life! Just look at the record of the times he ran before," he said. "I just don't think he's a good messenger in any way, shape or form. I just don't think he inspires people. These candidates have to inspire you."

The progressive pundit added, "He's just not inspiring in any way, shape or form. Maybe he need[s] to find a little bit of that Obama, Bill Clinton energy to inspire people because, yeah, he ain't it."

The radio host admitted that he is concerned that former President Donald Trump would defeat Biden in the 2024 election.

He said of Trump, "When you look across the aisle and you see a guy that’s got 91 criminal charges. He’s been impeached twice, he’s got four indictments, he did all the things I previously said, like an attempted coup of this country, the rhetoric he uses. It’s like, 'How are you losing to that guy?'"

He stressed, "That’s what we’re ringing the alarm about. It’s like, 'Yo, do you even want to take the chance of Joe Biden over the next four years? Do you even want to take a chance on Joe Biden in this election?'"

Charlamagne declared that Biden is "just not as good at marketing, and he's just not as good at messaging as Donald Trump is."

"That's probably because Donald Trump was never a career politician. Donald Trump was a celebrity," he theorized. "So Donald Trump knows how to, you know, keep the attention on himself. He knows how to take credit for things, even if he… probably shouldn't get sole credit."

He said candidates should be focused on putting money in people's pockets because that "gives people a sense of security all across the board."

Also this week, Charlamagne Tha God predicted that former President Donald Trump would defeat Biden in the 2024 election.

Charlamagne Tha God also claimed that it would be the "end of democracy" if Trump became president.

Charlamagne Tha God had a tense confrontation in May 2020 when then-candidate Joe Biden told him: "You've got more questions? Well, I'll tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black."
