September 16, 2019
Pretty awesome
A Tampa, Florida, man is grateful after a man named "Moses" returned a person's wallet after discovering it in the homeowner's driveway.
What are the details?
According to WSVN-TV, the good Samaritan discovered the wallet in the driveway of a home Matthew Easterly owns and rents in South Tampa.
The man, who said his name is Moses, discovered the wallet and rang the doorbell to notify the homeowner.
Easterly received the notification that Moses was at the door through the Ring doorbell app. Easterly tuned into the home surveillance system, and answered Moses, "How can I help?"
Moses told Easterly that he found the wallet on the ground, near the driver's side of a vehicle in the driveway.
According to WSVN, Easterly was "taken aback by the good deed, and explained to Moses that there are tenants living in the house, but are probably sleeping."
"If you don't mind, just leave it right down there at the bottom of the doorstep," Easterly told Moses, "and I will call them and ask them to answer the door, OK?"
Moses agreed, and Easterly responded, "Thank you, Moses. Not many people are like you, buddy."
What else?
Easterly has hopes of tracking down the good Samaritan and believes that the man lives in the same South Tampa neighborhood.
"If anyone knows this guy," Easterly said according to the station, "let him know we think he is a saint!"
