A "Day Without Immigrants" protest shut down businesses across the United States last week. Doc Thompson tells a story from his own Papa Thompson that shows how hard work is suppose to look.
Doc opens with, "I knew a guy who worked an hour away... that guy was my father." Doc points out that his father would leave about an hour before his shift started, because he didn't want to lose his job. Yes, a job can be hard, but Papa Thompson believed in coming in early and did this for 40 years.
To see more from Doc, visit his channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson” weekdays 6–9am ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
