Kim Kardashian visited Planned Parenthood – here’s what she thought

Planned Parenthood does not provide mammograms, and its primary focus is abortion, not women’s health. So why do people perpetuate the myths?

On Thursday’s “Pat & Stu,” the guys talked about the Kardashians’ recent publicized visit to a Planned Parenthood and how actress and TV host Whoopi Goldberg cheered them on.

“Because they murder over 300,000 babies per year. I mean, wow, who else has that kind of commitment?” Pat Gray asked rhetorically.

“Planned Parenthood is the only place, for instance, to get a mammogram,” Pat noted.

Stu Burguiere reminded him that no, Planned Parenthood does not offer mammograms as one of its services and the majority of its offices do not provide prenatal care to expectant moms.

Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian recently visited Planned Parenthood Los Angeles and posted about the trip on social media. “They are such an amazing place that provides so much to so many!” Kim Kardashian wrote in an Instagram caption, adding the hashtag “#istandwithpp.”

On TV's “The View,” Goldberg praised the Kardashians for their positive comments on the abortion organization — regardless of whether or not the trip was a publicity stunt.

“Even if it is [a publicity stunt], good on them!” Goldberg declared.
