Listen as Democrats during the Obama Administration proclaim Syria free of chemical weapons
April 11, 2017
Chris Salcedo discussed many who are declaring “America is back!” on "The Chris Salcedo Show" Monday, with regard to President Donald Trump’s missile strike on a Syrian air base last week. Many believe this is an indication that America is resuming its place as the world's lone superpower.
“You can’t turn a blind eye, in my estimation, to the use of chemical weapons,” Salcedo argued. The strike was in response to Assad's use of sarin gas against his own people, killing over 80 people and injuring many more.
Salcedo implied former President Obama and staffers such as Susan Rice deliberately concealed the seriousness of the plight of the Syrian people and went on to add quote after quote from elected Democrats during the Obama Administration proclaiming in a self-congratulatory nature that Syria had no more chemical weapons.
Chris was encouraged by the action taken against Syria by the Trump administration, but noted that he hasn't taken his eye off the ball when it comes to dealing with the threat of ISIS:
"I don't think that DOnald Trump, right now, is interested in defining a strategy right now for Syria. He wants to take care of ISIS. That's his stated position."
