Nutrition expert Julia Ross joined today’s show to talk about why we crave certain foods, what our eating habits can teach us and how amino acids can rescue you from food addiction.
Our favorite foods can act like a drug by inducing feelings of pleasure that we crave again and again, but you can become healthier by reclaiming your appetite and getting enough amino acids in your diet. Ross explained how to identify your craving profile and choose more satisfying healthy foods in her book “The Craving Cure: Identify Your Craving Type to Activate Your Natural Appetite Control.”
Kal was excited for new tips to combat his fatty liver problems, but Jeffy had some less than helpful advice for people who crave candy and ice cream after a meal: Just eat it!
