San Francisco to Donald Trump: We won't enforce the law and you can't make us
March 30, 2017
The city of San Francisco is taking a stand against the Trump administration with respect to its "sanctuary city" policy, claiming the Trump administration's withholding of funds to cities with sanctuary policies is, in effect, an attempt to force cities to enforce immigration laws, which, according to them, is a violation of the Constitution.
On Thursday's "The Glenn Beck Radio Program," Glenn Beck, Pat Gray, Stu Burguiere, and Jeffy Fisher talked about the story and pointed out that sanctuary policies often hurt those they are intended to protect.
"If you're here illegally, you won't report a crime of somebody who's done something to you," Glenn stated.
Pat added to Glenn's point and noted that illegal aliens are routinely taken advantage of due to their situation when it comes to wages, the law, jobs, and housing.
"Somehow it's the 'nice' side of this argument to say that that should continue. That they should be able to continually be taken advantage of with lower wages, and all of these things that are true. Wouldn't the proper way to go is to make sure that people don't come here illegally and then you don't have to deal with that," Stu explained.
