VIDEO: William Shatner's takeaway from space trip is... global warming?
October 19, 2021
William Shatner is best known for his role in "Star Trek," but he recently made headlines at age 90 for taking a 10-minute trip in a rocket-powered vessel to the edge of space.
In this clip, Pat Gray discussed what Shatner said to CNN's Chris Cuomo in an interview upon his return. Shatner - is the oldest person to ever fly just beyond the earth's atmosphere and experience weightlessness - recalled feeling deep sadness for the earth and said there should be no expense spared to pay for global warming.
"What about how resilient God's creation is?" Pat asked. Watch Pat react to Shatner's bizarre space trip takeaways. Can't watch? Download the podcast here.
