Pat Gray offers dramatic 'mafia-style' reading of the whistleblower complaint transcript

On Friday's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat discussed the transcript from the whistleblower report presented on Thursday by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

In this clip, Pat explained how Schiff's exaggerated retelling of the whistleblower complaint transcript sounded like a mafia movie radio bit.

Here is what Schiff told the committee:

We've been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what? I don't see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you, though. I am going to say this only seven times, so you had better listen well. I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent. Understand? Lots of it. On this and on that. I am going to put you in touch with people and not just any people. I am going to put you in touch with the attorney general of the united states, my attorney general Bill Barr. He has got the whole weight of the American law enforcement behind him. And I am going to put you in touch with Rudy. You are going to love him; trust me. You know what I am asking, and so I am only going to say this a few more times and in a few more ways. And by the way, don't call me again. I will call you when you have done what I have asked.

Ohio Rep. Mike Turner (R) spoke out at the hearing to inform the committee that Schiff's version of the transcript was inaccurate.

"As he was speaking, I heard had someone text me to say is he just making this up? Sometimes fiction is better than the actual words in the text. Luckily, the American public is smart, and they have the transcript, they have read the conversation, and they know when someone is making something up," Turner said.

Here's what Trump said:

President Trump: Congratulations on a great victory. We all watched from the United States. You did a terrific job. The way you came from behind, somebody wasn't given much of a chance, and you ended up winning comfortably. It's fantastic. Congratulations.

President Zelensky: You are absolutely right, Mr. President. We did win big. We worked hard for this. We worked a lot, and I would like to confess to you that I had the opportunity to learn from you. We used quite a few of your skills and knowledge and were able to use it as an example for our elections. And, yes, these were indeed unique elections. We were in an individual situation that we were able to achieve an unparalleled success. I'm able to tell you this: the first time you called me to congratulate me when I won my presidential election, and the second time you are now calling me when my party won the parliamentary election. I think I should run more often so we can talk on the phone more often. [Laughter.]

President Trump: That's a very good idea. I think your country is very happy about that.

President Zelensky: Well, yes, to tell you truth. We are trying to work hard because we wanted to drain the swap here in our country. We brought in many new people. Not the old politicians, not the typical politicians, because we want to have a new format and a new type of government. You are a great teacher for us in that. Read the full transcript here.

Throughout the clip, Pat portrayed a stellar re-enactment of Schiff reading the transcript set to theme song for the movie, "The Godfather."

Schiff has since admitted that his recap of the transcript was meant to be a parody.
