Disgraced Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel tweeted out a list of school safety tips on Twitter on Saturday and Parkland, Florida, survivor Kyle Kashuv is having none of it.
The sheriff's "Back to School Safety Tips" suggests rudimentary rules to follow for teachers and students. Among them is advice on how students should behave while riding a school bus, how to deal with bullying, how to yield at crosswalks, and how to drive in school zones.
On Tuesday, Doc Thompson railed against the sheriff's tone-deaf tweet in the clip above.
Kashuv said the gesture was a "slap in the face" to his classmates who survived the mass killing six months ago.
"Resign in shame, you self aggrandizing coward,"Kashuv tweeted.

Sheriff Israel has been lambasted for his poor response to the mass killing in Parkland, Florida, that left 17 dead and for his failure to accept accountabily on behalf of the department's lack of action prior to and during the killing.
Israel blamed the National Rifle Association and Dana Loesch for the massacre. He's been on record with reporters claiming that what unfolded at Parkland was "not [his] responsibility."
