FED UP with conspiracy theories: Newtown parents sue Alex Jones

Three parents who lost children in the mass murder at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012 are suing InfoWars founder Alex Jones over the lies he promotes about the tragedy.

On Tuesday, they filed a defamation lawsuit against Jones, a conspiracy theorist who has infamously claimed for years that the mass killing was an elaborate hoax carried out by actors.

Leonard Pozner and his former wife, Veronique De La Rosa, filed a suit against Jones; their 6-year-old son, Noah Pozner, was one of the children who was murdered. The second lawsuit came from Neil Heslin, whose son Jesse Heslin, also 6, also died at Sandy Hook.

On today’s show, Doc analyzed this story and debated whether suing Jones is the right response to someone’s terrible speech.
