Inefficiencies in the Pentagon provide 'some pretty clear areas of waste
December 07, 2016
Waste in the Pentagon is the discussion Sen. James Lankford has, as he joins Dana to reveal some of the details. They discuss how inefficient most government agencies tend to be and the challenges that come with the attempt.
Senator Lankford tells Dana how former Vice-President Dick Cheney wanted to re-evaluate the function of the Pentagon and the flow chart rolled out across the entire table at the cabinet room and decided it would take more than eight years to fix it.
"I would assume that there is some pretty clear areas of waste in the Pentagon," Senator Lankford says. "I've yet to run into anyone that serves the Pentagon that says this is the most efficient place on Earth."
