The highly discredited "Fire and Fury" author Michael Wolff sunk to an all-time low when he accused U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley of sleeping with President Trump to obtain her post.
On Thursday morning's "Morning Joe," co-host Mika Brzezinski pressed Wolff on whether or not he was sorry about falsely peddling a rumor of an affair between Haley and Trump.
"Do you regret inferring anything about Nikki Haley?" asked Brzezinski.
"I didn't infer anything about Nikki Haley," said Wolff. "What I inferred was that the president -- many of the people around the president believes that he is still involved with various women."
"You're slurring a woman. It's disgraceful," replied Brzezinski.
"She has decided to deny what she has not been accused of," said Wolff.
“If you don’t get what we’re talking about, I’m sorry, this is awkward, you’re here on the set with us, but we’re done,” Brzezinski said.
In his book, Wolff said he thought Trump and Haley were "absolutely" having an affair due to the private conversations they had on Air Force One. “It is absolutely not true,” Haley said in a podcast with Politico.
Good for @morningmika and the folks at #MorningJoe for kicking Wolff to the curb. Man what a scumbag that guy is.— Jonah Goldberg (@Jonah Goldberg)1517488791.0
“I have literally been on Air Force One once and there were several people in the room when I was there,” she added.

Pat especially gasped when Brzezinski said, "you're on the set of 'Morning Joe,' we don't B.S. here."
