Samantha Bee and Glenn Beck search for common ground

Samantha Bee, former longtime Daily Show correspondent and current host of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS, sits down with Glenn to discuss their respective roles in uniting our divided nation. Following Donald Trump's surprising victory, liberals find themselves in the unenviable position recently held by conservatives — dismissed and derided by the ruling party. Glenn and Samantha share their concerns about the rise of fake news and the public's waning trust in traditional news media, which has led to social media echo chambers that only present one side of every story.

"People are receiving their news in their own bubble of the Internet. It's very difficult to penetrate that with actual information," Samantha observes. "I don't really know how to penetrate that. I don't think anybody really does."

Glenn responds optimistically: "But that's what we're here for."
