Austin Petersen, a former presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party, joined Tuesday's “The Morning Blaze” to talk about his Missouri Senate race and his switch from being a libertarian to running as a Republican.
He debated Kris Cruz on that decision as well as Doc Thompson on whether or not incoming immigrants compete with Americans who are already here for low-skilled labor jobs. They discussed some of the controversial questions of the immigration debate:
Do incoming immigrants threaten those who are already here?
Are out-of-work Americans willing to take on manual labor jobs?
Is immigration necessary to fill both low-skilled and highly skilled jobs?
