Turkish governor was lone shining light in darkness of looming genocide

Glenn Beck recalls the story of an Ottoman official who stood against many for the sake of the innocent. The Ottoman parliament passed the "Displacement Law" back in 1915 in order to root out and annihilate Turkish Christians. In fact, back during World War I, a Turkish officer was quoted as saying, "Since we're at war with the Christians, we need to wipe them out in this country first."
Mehmet Celal Bey was a governor within the Ottoman Empire who witnessed the deportation and murder of these Christians and refused to stand idly by, and he was personally responsible for saving tens of thousands of lives.
