While liberals were calling to abolish ICE, two Mexican drug dealers beheaded a special needs child

Last month Mariah Lopez became one of the 80,000 people who has died in organized-crime violence fueled by the drug war. She was 13 years old, on the autism spectrum, and had just witnessed the death of her 49-year-old grandmother, Oralia Mendoza. Mendoza was stabbed to death by two men she knew with ties to the Sinaloa drug cartel in Mexico, North America's most powerful drug-trafficking gang according to CNN.

Yoni Aguilar and Israel Gonzalez Palomino reportedly stabbed Mendoza after they found text messages on her cell phone that she was concerned about the safety of her granddaughter Mariah during a drug running trip from Georgia to Alabama.

Following the discovery of the text messages, Palomino and Aguilar woke the women in the middle of the night and said they were taking them "somewhere safe." That "somewhere safe" was a cemetery where they brutally murdered both of the women.

When they were through stabbing Mariah's grandmother, Aguilar -- who is here illegally -- decapitated 13-year-old Mariah. Her body was found by a farmer in the area.

Meanwhile, liberals are actually entertaining the thought of abolishing Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), police, and the military.

The question Glenn and Pat raised in all of this is: Where is the outrage on the Left? The same people who are outraged about the families who are being separated at the border are profoundly silent when stories such as these come to light.

"How can somebody be beheaded in this country? How can someone -- a 13-year-old girl of special needs -- have her head sawed off and that doesn't make the news," said Glenn.

"You have to have a pretty firm agenda not to report on that," replied Pat.
