Professional golfer Tiger Woods was arrested on charges of driving under the influence on Monday morning in Jupiter, Florida, according to WPTV-TV.
WPTV reported that Woods, 41, a resident of Jupiter, was taken into custody at 3 a.m. He was booked at 7:18 a.m. and released several hours later.
According to ESPN, Woods, a winner of 14 major championships, has not won a tournament since 2013.
In recent years, a series of scandals, injuries, and back problems have reduced the number of tournaments in which Woods has participated. Earlier this year, he expressed a desire to return to professional golf. Woods hasn't played competitive golf since he was forced to pull out of the Dubai Desert Classic in February.
