CNN host completely loses it on air over Trump's tweets about Mika Brzezinski's bleeding face

Keith Boykin, CNN political commentator, went nuts on former spokesperson for the George W. Bush administration, Pete Seat, over President Donald Trump's tweets about "Morning Joe" anchor Mika Brzezinski's "bleeding face."

About the president's tweets, Seat said, "President Donald Trump is a fighter. We knew this during the campaign; when he feels under attack, he comes out and fights back. This is partly what the American people wanted him to do. They knew this going in, that he is a fighter and you see this all the time. People are questioning his mental fitness for the job on networks all across the spectrum. People are saying that he should be physically harmed. These so-called celebrities making comments like that all the time. The guy is under a lot of pressure and he's fighting back."

During Seat's remarks, Boykin can be seen in the video making an array of what appear to be shocked, disgusted, and incredulous faces.

“Most people watching this in the heartland just don’t care,” Seat said.

Boykin couldn't hold his comments any longer and broke in during the middle of Seat's comments and said, "Pete, Pete, Pete, Pete, this is ridiculous! This is absolutely absurd you are not condemning this petty, vindictive, sexist attack from the president of the United States against a female journalist.

“How much longer will Republicans allow Donald Trump’s childish behavior, his petty vindictiveness to consume this country’s politics?” Boykin asked. “This has to end. And the only way it ends is if people like you, who call yourselves respectable Republicans have the courage to stand up and say something about it.”

Trump on Thursday eviscerated "Morning Joe" co-host Brzezinski over an alleged facelift.

Trump wrote, "I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!"

During the panel discussion, Boykin later set his sights on first lady Melania Trump.

“Melania Trump said she was going to fight against cyberbullying," he said. "Well, Donald Trump is the chief cyberbully in our country and she needs to stand up to her husband today and look him in the face and say, cut it out.”

He continued his rant and said, “This is shameful, it’s disgraceful, he’s making a mockery of our country and the presidency and the White House.”

CNN panel moderator Kate Bolduan asked Seat for a response to Boykin's comments, and in response, Seat asked Boykin when Democrats would own up to the notion that Democratic policies are precisely what put Trump in office.

Boykin began ranting in an erratic manner against Seat, and Bolduan had to butt in to break up the fracas.

"Let me jump in, let me jump in, let me jump in," Bolduan cried. "Keith, I know you can hear me, stop talking."

Bolduan complained that there's no room to talk policies currently when the president is paying more attention to Brzezinski's face and his feud with the mainstream media than he is to policies.

“This president is tweeting about it!” Boykin yelled at Seat, referring to Trump's comments about Brzezinski's face. “We’re not supposed to focus on what the president is talking about? The president is tweeting about it!”

Seemingly close to tears, Boykin continued, “How can you say the media is focusing on it when the president of the United States is talking about this, this morning?!”

“He’s not talking about health care, he's not talking sanctuary cities, he’s not talking about immigration, he’s talking about Mika Brzezinski and saying that she’s bleeding from a facelift!” he ranted.

His voice beginning to waver, Boykin continued, “That’s unacceptable behavior from the president of the United States and I’m quite frankly sick of it! I’m sick of having to go on television every week and talk about this stupidity because people like you, Pete continue to defend this. It’s unacceptable, it’s un-American, stand up and have some courage for a change!”
