Hillary Clinton is now hawking T-shirts for Planned Parenthood

Failed Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is now selling T-shirts to raise funds to support the nation's largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.

On Tuesday morning, Clinton tweeted a picture of herself holding up a black T-shirt with the words "Nasty Woman" written on it in white. The "nasty woman" phrase gained popularity during the 2016 elections when President Donald Trump called Clinton a "nasty woman" during a debate.

The shirts are currently being sold and promoted by the cable network TBS, spearheaded by Samantha Bee, host of "Full Frontal With Samantha Bee." According to the site where you can buy the T-shirts, the proceeds will support the "Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project" in Los Angeles County. The sales goal is $1 million.

"With the uncertainty of the health care bill, we may need to keep Planned Parenthood afloat one t-shirt at a time," Bee wrote on the site.

The description for the shirt sale declares:

By getting this exclusive “Nasty Woman” shirt (and/or hoodie), you’re joining Samantha Bee and countless other smart, fearless women and men in supporting Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County, standing up for women’s (aka, human) rights and helping to pave the way for a brighter future. This is such an incredible time in our country's history. Don't you want to look back on it with pride, knowing that you helped make a difference? We do! Join us and let’s make it happen.

Bee responded to Clinton for helping her promote the T-shirts on Twitter, expressing her appreciation for the help.

As of press time, the site had raised $925,000.
