The highly anticipated Alabama special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions will be decided Tuesday evening.
TheBlaze is very proud to present live results from one of the most accurate election day vote tabulation organizations, Decision Desk.
The polls will close at 8 p.m. EST.
The Alabama special election is even more intriguing than usual because President Donald Trump has chosen to back what is considered the "establishment candidate" by his base, many of whom are pushing for the alternate conservative candidate.
Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Trump have backed Luther Strange, while many of the president's most ardent supporters have been pushing Judge Roy Moore.
The latter has been leading in recent polling, but many expect the turnout to be very low in the election, which means that Strange may still be able to seize a victory.
Moore made headlines when he pulled out a gun at his rally to show his Second Amendment bon fides. He also rode a horse to the polls Tuesday morning.
