Melissa Francis: CNBC wouldn’t allow me to criticize the president’s policies – when it was Obama

Obamacare was never going to work, and the simple reason was math. When Melissa Francis, Fox Business anchor, made that point during her stint with CNBC, she was told she was disrespecting the office of the president.

She told the story to Chris Salcedo on today’s “Chris Salcedo Show.” Although Francis has a degree in economics from Harvard, she noted that elementary school math is all one needed to realize that insuring a larger population, as the Affordable Care Act proposed, was going to cost more money, not less -- as former President Barack Obama promised.

For saying so on air, she was reprimanded.  Americans have since learned upon implementation of the ACA that she was correct.
