On "The Chris Salcedo Show" Thursday, Chris Salcedo talked about Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit with President Donald Trump as well as the latest on the events in Syria. He quickly pointed out that the situation in Syria is as grave as it is due to former President Barack Obama's inaction.
"This example with [Syrian President Bashir] Assad is just the beginning," Chris stated.
Salcedo went on to note Obama's failure to even voice support for the people of Iran who attempted to rise up against their dictatorial government as well as the fact that North Korea now a far greater national security threat to the US after his presidency.
Common thought is that China can rein North Korea's aggression and threats toward other nations should it choose to, which, with this week's rumblings from the Hermit Nation, President Trump's meeting with the Chinese president carries even greater weight. Chris finished the segment by playing a statement Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.), made regarding the relationship between China and North Korea:
"China is the only one that can control Kim Jong Un, this crazy fat kid that's running North Korea," McCain summed up.
