You won't believe how the president of CNN describes Fox News
WASHINGTON, DC - FEBRUARY 4: NBC Universal President and CEO Jeff Zucker appears before the Senate Antitrust Competition Policy and Consumer Rights Subcommittee for a hearing on the proposed merger between Comcast and NBC Universal on Capitol Hill February 4, 2010 in Washington, DC. The roughly $30 billion dollar deal, if allowed by regulators to be completed, would concentrate a great deal of power and greatly impact the future of television programming. You won't believe how the president of CNN describes Fox News

Jeff Zucker, the president of 24 hour cable news channel CNN, told the New Yorker that rival network Fox News Channel is "state-run TV." Today on "Pure Opelka," Mike Opelka found this interesting because "what we see in others, we recognize in ourselves."

The CNN president also said that Fox is "extolling the line out of the White House. MSNBC has become the opposition. And I think CNN is seeking the truth.”

Mike said that Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" would receive texts from former president Barack Obama's senior adviser Valerie Jarrett when Zucker was president there. She has also described Jarrett as a friend she and co-host Joe Scarborough would meet for dinner.

Mike suggested that if Zucker would like to see examples of state-run networks, he need only examine "mainstream media for the last eight years"

To see more from Mike, visit his channel on TheBlaze and listen live to “Pure Opelka” weekdays 12-3 p.m. ET, 7–10 p.m. ET & Saturdays 6–9 a.m. ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
