On Tuesday, after Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., chair of the House Intelligence Committee, announced a probe into the Obama-Clinton Russian uranium deal, CNN’s John King hosted a panel to discuss the inquiry.

As previously discussed, Dana Bash used the forum to obfuscate and run cover for the Democrats and Clintons.

Today, the focus is on John King and his assertion that Republicans were in control of the House of Representatives in 2009-2010 — the time frame in which a Russian company bought the Uranium One company in the United States. 

Here’s what John King said:

 

King said, “They have every right to have aggressive oversight of things that happened in any administration. Uh … correct me if I’m wrong, there was a Republican House during this part of the Obama administration.” King further downplayed, saying, “If this was a big deal that needs to be investigated, why are we starting it late in 2017?”
