Israeli elections next week: What you need to know

Israel is holding parliamentary elections next week on April 9. While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to hold onto his position as the country’s top leader, there will likely be a significant shake-up in the balance of power in Jerusalem.

President Trump is demanding that the Mexican government do more to stop the flow of illicit drugs, the surge in border crossings, and other illegal activities and substances that continue to transit to the United States.

Instead of threatening an imminent border closure, the president issued a “one-year warning” to Mexico. “Mexico understands that we're going to close the border or I'm going to tariff the cars — one or the other," the president said Friday.”
