In the wake of the health care reform fight in the House of Representatives, conservatives are still under attack.
While The Wall Street Journal hails the American Health Care Act’s passage as a victory against Obamacare, it is trashing conservatives who wanted to push the bill beyond mere reform to a full repeal.
“They’re a joke,” Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin said of the WSJ editorial board on the radio earlier this week. As Levin explains, GOP leadership and the establishment are responsible for this weak-sauce repeal and conservatives were the ones trying to keep their promises.

At the end of the day, the Republicans have adopted too many of the Left’s premises. They are unable to articulate a vision for health care that does not rely on government. This is the great political problem facing conservatives on health care.
