Levin: Is McConnell ‘setting up’ conservatives?

Thursday night on his radio show, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin highlighted the (strong) possibility that GOP leader Mitch McConnell is gearing up to screw conservatives in the forthcoming Senate health care bill.

According to a Politico story, the Cruz amendment, which would allow insurers to sell insurance plans that are exempted from Obamacare regulations so long as they offer at least one that is compliant, could be “altered or removed later.”

Levin noted that this amendment may be the only thing that gets some conservatives on board, and knowing how McConnell operates, it is very possible he could rip it out in reconciliation leaving conservatives hanging.
