Levin takes the ‘so-called constitutionalists’ to school over Trump’s emergency powers
January 14, 2019
Monday night on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin called out the "so-called constitutionalists" on the Right who have spoken out against idea of President Trump declaring a national emergency to build a wall along the southern border.
More specifically, Levin addressed arguments that conservatives who would support Trump's use of the National Emergencies Act for the wall are "unprincipled" or "support a slow but steady autocracy."
"Now that's just plain damn stupid," he concluded in response.
During the remainder of the segment, Levin continued to debunk the argument in an in-depth review of the times emergency powers were invoked by past presidents.
