Subcommittee finds troubling link among post-9/11 terrorism cases

Conservative Review

If Islamic refugees were called AR-15s or “assault weapons,” would Democrats do their jobs and vote to bar them from entering the country? No bill no break, huh?

The difference is, of course, that guns don’t have brains or kill people, nor do they subvert our culture and society from within. Mass influxes of unassimilated Islamic immigrants, on the other hand, do subvert our culture and political values. Worse, they bring jihad to our shores – guns or no guns. Most importantly, law-abiding Americans have a constitutional right to possess guns . Islamic foreign nationals, on the other hand, do not have an affirmative right to immigrate at any given time. Thus, pausing our unprecedented and unacceptable immigration policies are constitutional; pausing due process for Americans and gun rights is not.

Foreign-Born Terrorists

Last year, we reported that Sens. Sessions, R-A.L. (B, 80%) and Cruz, R-T.X. (A, 97%) who sit on theJudiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest, sent a letter to three department heads (State, Justice, and Homeland Security) requesting the immigration information of individuals and families involved in terrorism since 9/11. While State and Homeland balked at their request for immigration status, DOJ did provide the senators with 580 names of individuals convicted on terrorism or terrorism-related offenses between September 11, 2001 and December 31, 2014. Left to their own devices and lacking the data for complete research, subcommittee staff were able to determine that at least 380 of them were foreign born.

“Of the 380 foreign-born, at least 24 were initially admitted to the United States as refugees, and at least 33 had overstayed their visas,” wrote Sessions and Cruz in a press release. “Additionally, of those born abroad, at least 62 were from Pakistan, 28 were from Lebanon, 22 were Palestinian, 21 were from Somalia, 20 were from Yemen, 19 were from Iraq, 16 were from Jordan, 17 were from Egypt, and 10 were from Afghanistan.”

The press release goes on to note that the number is likely a lot higher because only 71 individuals were confirmed to be natural-born citizens and the DOJ data doesn’t include cases that are sealed. Moreover, as we’ve witnessed with Orlando, San Bernardino and Fort Hood, while the individual terrorists were born in the United States, their families immigrated from the Middle East fairly recently. Also, as we’ve seen with the recent terror attacks, the nature of these terrorists is that they live in radicalized colonies. In other words, while only several hundred have been convicted for terrorism, how many more of their family, friends, fellow worshipers and mentors at local mosques sympathize with our enemies but might never engage in overt terrorism themselves? What about all of the individuals – immigrants and children of immigrants – who have yet to be caught thanks to the Obama administration deleting over a decade of research tracking down the Islamic extremist networks in all 50 states?

These are important questions because although we can’t prevent all Americans from harboring extreme genocidal views, immigrants are different. Immigration is an elective policy; it’s up to the discretion of the host country whether to admit certain individuals or not. We are not obligated to invite in any individual or group of people and no individual or group of foreign nationals has a constitutional right to be admitted to the United States. Hence, the rate of terrorist sympathizers, much less overt terror activity among immigrants, should ideally be zero. They should never be admitted to this country in the first place if they don’t love our political values. The minute we see them engaging in radical behavior they can and must be deported so long as they have not obtained citizenship yet and are constitutionally entitled to remain here until they are convicted of an act of treason. As I prove conclusively in Stolen Sovereignty (pre order here), those were, up until the 1970s, our long-standing policies and goals as it relates to immigration.

Mass Middle Eastern Migration+ Muslim Brotherhood Influence Domestically = Grand Jihad

Many of the problems we are having with homegrown terrorism is from immigrant families who have come to America in the ‘70s, 80’s and 90s. One can only imagine the ticking time bomb we have created from the enormous increase in immigration from the Middle East over the past decade. With over 150,000 individuals arriving from that part of the world per year, there is no way to possibly assimilate a large percent of them, given the anti-American values and political views of the overwhelming majority of most of those countries. Even those who are potentially absorbable into our society are being reared in communities monopolized by Muslim Brotherhood propaganda.

Consider the following: the preeminent Muslim organization in America is the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). They have become the representatives and community leaders for Muslims living in America. CAIR, which was discovered to be a Hamas/Brotherhood front group during the 2008 Holy Land Foundation trial, was founded in 1994 by three leaders of the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP): Omar Ahmad, Nihad Awad and Rafeeq Jaber. The IAP was one of the Muslim Brotherhood organizations mentioned in the infamous 1991 document (which was not supposed to fall in the hands of the infidel, but was discovered in an FBI raid), “An Explanatory Memorandum: On the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,” explaining “their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” [see page 21 of the PDF]

Now, understand that it is those individuals with that goal in mind who are largely influencing, inspiring and educating the unprecedented hundreds of thousands of Middle Eastern immigrants being admitted into this country.

It is incontrovertibly clear that only way to stem the tide of Islamic subversion and empower those Muslims who truly want to assimilate is to A) pause the existing flow from the Middle East and B) categorically ban the Muslim Brotherhood and other Hamas or Jihadi front groups from our shores.

If I were a member of Congress I too would join the Democrats in their sit-in on the House floor and chant #NoBillNobreak. How can Congress break for the summer without conducting a vote pausing refugee resettlement and banning the Muslim Brotherhood? Nothing short of the survival of our civilization is at stake, and we can’t afford to squander another day.
