How will Glenn Beck know for sure that he's made it? Mediate tells us that the best evidence "is that Jon Stewart seems rather consumed with Mr. Beck having talked about him during appearances on Oprah, The O’Reilly Factor and now, after last night, Late Night with David Letterman."
Stewart's apparent fascination was on full display last night, when he even pulled out his best Beck impersonation. But the appearance in general may have fallen flat according to Mediaite: "There is a whiff of Junior High 'cool' kids picking on the new kid (who’s suddenly the most popular) behind his back."
That might not be that far off considering Letterman's description of Beck: "He has no idea what he's talking about, he just wants trouble."
In then end, however, Stewart added that he likes Beck and would like to have him on his show:
