"I was thinking I was going to jail."
Mike Jones, the former police officer who shot Florida school board gunman Clay Duke, hosted an emotional press conference on Thursday, admitting that the decision to fire back at Duke was an agonizing one and saying, "I'm not a hero." He explained that he was not supposed to be in the meeting that night, but felt he should go anyway:
