Pilots Admit: Cool Pics for Facebook Motivated Dangerous Helicopter Stunt

The pilots who dipped their naval helicopters into Lake Tahoe in a juvenile stunt in September were trying to get photos for their command's Facebook page, according to a Navy official.
Though no punitive actions were taken against the aircrew or squadron, the Navy has admitted the crew's antics resulted in $505,000 in damages to the helicopters and says "administrative measures" are being implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future.
