New Fox NFL Commercial Mocks TSA

Usually when sports and politics collide the result is horrendous. But the latest installment of Fox's "It's good to have a ring" Super Bowl campaign may be an exception.

The campaign is meant to bolster the credentials of the network's Sunday NFL show hosts, most of whom have a Super Bowl ring as players or coaches. But some don't, and the commercials feature those who do getting preferential treatment over those who are ringless.

So maybe it was only a matter of time before the commercials featured the ringed hosts breezing through TSA despite obvious security violations, and one person without a ring getting strip-searched:

To be fair, the commercial isn't over-the-top political. But given the recent TSA trouble, you can bet the producers knew people would draw comparisons.
