Police in Lynn, Mass., say it was a stray bullet that struck a woman as she was getting ready for work insider her own home Saturday morning.
The bullet went through 55-year-old Cheryl Marino's house and hit her in the chest at around 7 a.m. According to police accounts, two groups of people had been arguing outside Marino's home when someone fired a gun.
The suspects left the scene before police arrived and no one has been arrested. Meanwhile, Marino is in stable condition at Massachusetts General Hospital.
