Emanuel Responds to Being Thrown off Ballot With Smiles, Laughs, and Jokes

“I have no doubt that in the end we will prevail at this effort."

Chicago mayoral candidate Rahm Emanuel addressed the media on Monday about being kicked off the ballot for residency reasons. But the video of that response didn't show a somber, dejected, or collected "former" candidate. Instead, Emanuel laughed, smiled, and joked while addressing reporters.

Emanuel set the tone from the beginning of the news conference by asking slyly if there was anything in the news the media wanted to talk about, and then wondered if reporters wanted to hear his "five-point economic plan":
