Baby Gap advertises lynching...?

The unrest in the Middle East. The angry protests in the Midwest.

A lot of uncertainty in the world today has many Americans understandably on edge and ready to cry foul at the drop of a hat. Case in point: this image taken at a Baby Gap store and posted on Facebook with a message demanding the manager be fired for advertising lynching:

If the on-edge photographer had stuck around for, oh, maybe 10 more minutes, he would've realized the display was NOT advertising lynching, only incomplete.  Instead, the photo circulated around the internet and was picked up by a number of bloggers eager to voice their disgusted outrage over the "lynching tree" at Baby Gap.

Gap was forced to issue a clarifying image:

Ignore the creepy headless manikin children and it's a decent display for a happy spring collection for kids!
