At Ground Zero on Sunday night and early Monday morning, crowds gathered to cheer the death of Osama bin Laden. They sang the National Anthem, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, popped champagne, and even had a moment of silence (kind of).
First the National Anthem:
Now the Pledge, led by what appears to be someone in uniform:
They also chanted "U-S-A!"
And they also tried to have a moment of silence -- but that was made difficult by people trying to sing the National Anthem:
Bagpipe players led an emotional rendition of "Amazing Grace:"
Finally, one guy climbed up a light pole and popped a bottle of champagne:
