Remember when MSNBC (and many on the Left) demanded everyone in the Tea Parties 'tone down the rhetoric' during the healthcare debate? And then in January when the call for civility was again raised after AZ Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot at a town hall meeting?

Yeah. That was then, this is now.

Listen carefully to the words used during tonight's 'Hardball' to describe Newt Gingrich and his entry into the GOP race for the Presidency.

In the span of less than a minute, Gingrich was painted with the following terms;

• Assault
• Assassination
• Depth charges
• Revolutionary
• Bomb thrower
• Plastique
• Blow up the bridge
