Fashion designer Suzanne Lee has a radical, new idea for the fashion world. Rather than using traditional materials to create dresses, shirts and the like, she's studying the use of tea, sugar and microbes to very literally grow thread and design clothing.
Sound strange? It is. But, Lee's ideas teamed with biological research may lead to an entirely new and environmentally-friendly way for nations around the world to produce clothing.
